10.3 After the general resurrection there will be a day on which God will judge the world in righteousness by Jesus Christ (John 5:26–30Acts 17:31). All people who have ever lived upon earth will be judged in perfect righteousness, according to what they have done (Romans 2:5–10Revelation 20:12–13). The righteous will receive the reward of eternal joy, everlasting life and imperishable glory in the presence of the Lord; the wicked, who do not know God and do not obey the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ, will be cast aside into everlasting torments, punished with everlasting destruction, and shut out from the gracious presence of the Lord and the majesty of his power (Matthew 25:31–46Romans 2:6–102 Thessalonians 1:9–10).

Article 10.3

This is an extract from Crystal Park Baptist Church Benoni‘s Confession of Faith. While our members must affirm the Statement of Belief our elders must, in addition, affirm the Confession of Faith. The document represents: the sound doctrine we teach, a unity between us on key aspects of the Christian faith, sets a clear expectation to our members and represents the leadership’s hopes for the congregation as a whole. This Confession is held by elders of member churches of Sola 5. Sola 5 is an association of God-centred evangelicals in Southern Africa currently with member churches in Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Swaziland, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.
