Why Small Group Bible Study is important

You Need Community. God designed us for togetherness. Togetherness is a means of grace, a key to grow in your love for God and grow in your love for your neighbour. Small group Bible studies are how you tap into our community.

We grow in our love for God in small group Bible studies as we probe the deep truths of Scripture together. Unlike the Sunday sermon, Bible studies are participatory. We learn well together.

We grow in our love for our neighbour in small group Bible studies as we disciple and are discipled. The Christian faith is personal but it was never intended to be private. Bible studies are often where we make friends and live out our faith together.

Our small group Bible studies are open to members, attendees, youth and visitors. We encourage all our members to take part in a small group Bible study.

Tuesday, 7:00pm – Fundamentals of the Faith (Young Adults)

• When: Tuesdays, 7:00pm
• Where: Crystal Park Baptist Church Benoni, 1 Clydesdale Road, Crystal Park, Benoni
• Leaders: Etienne and Stuart
• Note: This group is aimed at young adults, 18-35. Bible study includes worship, teaching and fellowship over coffee. Currently, the Fundamentals of the Faith is doing an introduction to apologetics.

• Note: We are doing a series on the Trinity.

Wednesday, 7:00pm – LIVE Wednesday Bible Study

• When: Wednesdays, 7:00pm
• Where: Crystal Park Baptist Church Benoni, 1 Clydesdale Road, Crystal Park, Benoni

• Note: First prize is to take part in the Bible study at church. Bring your Bible and a pen to take notes. Arrive a little early to make a cup coffee before we start. We stream live to our YouTube Channel and our Facebook Page.

Thursday, 7:00pm – LIVE Bible Study – Training for Bible Study and Church Leaders

• When: Thursdays, 7:00pm
• Where: Crystal Park Baptist Church Benoni, 1 Clydesdale Road, Crystal Park, Benoni
• Leaders: Mark, Jeff Gage, Tshepo
• Note: Crystal Park Baptist Church Benoni will host Training for Bible Study and Church Leaders. The intent of the course is to equip men and women to serve as Bible study leaders. Also, the course aids the identification and development of potential elders and deacons. Each week there will be workshops, teachings and assignments and discussions. We stream live to our YouTube Channel and our Facebook Page.
