Philosophy and People behind Our 2020 Calendar
Find our calendared ministries below, a philosophy of how we’ve calendared it, and the leader responsible for the ministry.
Holidays
Philosophy: We close most of our ministries down during the school holidays and on public holidays. This allows members and leaders to catch their breath. Ministry is like the Comrades Marathon not the 100 meter dash.
Teaching
Bible Study Launch
Philosophy: Once a quarter, before the school holidays end and the various Bible Studies start up again, during morning services, after the notices, each Bible Study leader is given a minute to introduce their Bible Study to the church. After the service sign-up sheets are available for members and attendees to get connected to mid-week small groups.
